IAN Pilot Project Participants:

Public Technology Institute (PTI) is a national, not-for-profit member-supported organization based in Washington, D.C.

As the only technology organization created by and for cities and counties, PTI works with a core network of leading local government officials—the PTI membership—to identify opportunities for technology research, to share solutions and recognize member achievements, and develop best practices that address the technology management, governance and policy issues that impact local government.

Frostburg State University ~ Frostburg State University is part of the University of Maryland system.

Mid-Atlantic Institute for Space and Technology ~ MIST is a non-profit association of industry, government and academia whose mission is to:

  1. Grow the aerospace industry in the Region, with concentration on the Virginia-Maryland Eastern Shore,
  2. Develop a highly skilled technology workforce through cooperation with regional universities and other educational institutions, and
  3. Develop technologies, processes and facilities that reduce the cost and increase responsiveness of access to space and near-space for military, civil, scientific, and academic users.

The Maryland Technology Corporation and its R&D funding programs ~ TEDCO is bringing innovations from universities and federal labs into the State's economy by facilitating the transfer of technology to the private sector and by providing emerging technology companies and university researchers with vital seed funding and specialized technical assistance.
