EMP Safe 911 Pilot

EMP Safe 9-1-1 Center & Fiber Optic Network Pilot Project

IAN project leaders will work with various mission critical facilities managers to ascertain the types of facilities and capabilities that need to be protected from EMP.  These systems requirements will then be placed into initial designs for several commercial-off-the-shelf systems that will be sized for power, cooling, communications and other essential needs that will be evaluated for possible inclusion into mass-produced systems.

EMP Protected Data Center in a Mobile Room: The EMP protected system will include mobile and fixed data center modules of approximately 8x24 feet.  The mobile units can be light enough to be driven with a pick up truck by a driver with an ordinary driver's license.
